Our mission is to contribute to a safer community through external partnerships and enforcement efforts. We will serve the residents, businesses and visitors of Vance County with fairness and integrity, honoring the spirit of the law and not just the letter of the law and apply it uniformly.
We will provide excellent service to the stakeholders in Vance County by responding to calls for service in a timely and professional manner. Our Investigators will make every reasonable effort to solve their assigned cases.
We will partner with other agencies to share information in an effort to reduce crime. Our Civil Division is committed to executing every process within the required timeframe.
Administratively, we will equally value all of our employees, sworn or non-sworn. We will strive to develop our employees through training and mentoring, preparing them to be effective members of the agency as well as preparing them for career advancement.
